This trip consists of an 8 Mile loop and a 2.6 mile out-and-back. There are .4 mile of pavement, 2.3 miles of single-track, and 8.3 miles of dirt and gravel roads. The trail is in mostly good condition, but it does contain one short, steep section that is heavily eroded. Abrupt drop-offs and narrow, ditch-like conditions characterize this technical stretch. Around each bend in the road is another view of giant snow-capped volcanoes and shimmering snowfields. The scenery is so awesome that one tends to start taking grandeur for granted. Upper Three Creek Lake Sno-Park is about 11 miles south of Sisters.
