Suttle Lake is an ideal stopover for a quick run on your way into or out of Central Oregon. Surrounded by mixed conifers, the lake is a deep blue and is well loved by ?shermen for its native kokanee and brown trout. During the summer, families ?ock to the shores for lakeside campsites and great swimming. A resort formerly known as Suttle Lake Lodge o?ered accommodations and cabin rentals at the east end of the lake until late 2015, when the property changed hands. (At press time, an extensive renovation was being planned, but no reopening date had been announced.)
