The rustic resort at Lost Lake is a great place to spend a night or two, with boats for rent, picnic tables with grills, a campground, and a beautiful lake stocked with trout. It’s also a lovely walk around the natural 240-acre lake, including an interpretive, barrier-free, old-growth trail and one of the most photographed views of Mount Hood—all this, plus two optional longer hikes, one of them to a fine lookout point.
