This entertaining ride starts at the Summit Ski Area at Government Camp. Established in 1927, this is the oldest ski area in the Pacific Northwest and the first one built on Mount Hood. This smooth and fast singletrack route races through a shady forest in the Mount Hood National Forest. The route combines three popular cross-country ski trails— Crosstown, Wally’s Tie, and Skiway. You can try this route or get creative and make up your own route on this fun maze of trails. Trail surface: 5.7 miles singletrack; 0.4 mile doubletrack.
