Owyhee Spring Loop Professional Review and Guide
"The ride is 11.7 miles. It is formed by following a gravel road and old double-tracks. The gravel road is in good condition with minor washboarding and some loose gravel. The double-tracks have seen better days. They contain ruts and rocks, and there is a stretch of roadbed that is canted off to the side. The outing involves a loop of 7.5 miles and a 4.2-mile out-and-back spur. It's an easy ride with a bit of moderately difficult climbing. The gravel road takes you up through a shallow gulch-the double-tracks wander about through the desert. Highlighting the double-track riding is an overlook that provides a good view of the river. The loop is just south of Rome, a tiny community on US 95. This town is about 13 miles east of the intersection of US 95 and OR 78 at Burns Junction."
