Hewitt/Holcomb County Parks Professional Review and Guide
"This campground stretches along the Powder River Arm of Brownlee Reservoir. The park’s sloping acre of green lawn stands in contrast to the dusky, dry grass canyon. Most visitors come for the boating and fishing, for which the lake is noted. The RV camping area is an extensive paved lot, with numbered sites and accompanying tables and barbecues and planted shade trees at its perimeter. A separate tent camping area on a constructed terrace close to the water provides tenters with a flat spot to camp beneath the trees. All sites are just steps from the water, and trophy catfish can entice anglers out at night."
