Natural Bridge Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Set back from OR 62, this quiet campground covers a large forested flat along the Rogue River. It offers spacious sites, many of them riverside. Firs, pines, hemlocks, and dogwoods shade the camp. Fishing, hiking, and sightseeing along the Rogue River lure guests. The Rogue Gorge Trail passes through camp, while the Upper Rogue National Recreation Trail traces the opposite bank of the Rogue River. You can access the Upper Rogue Trail via the footbridge to Natural Bridge Viewpoint. The viewpoint is worth the short walk to see the spectacular basalt gorge, where a lava tube swallows the river whole, only to spit it out 200 feet downstream."
