Huckleberry Mountain Professional Review and Guide
"Because its access road is so steep and narrow, this rustic mountaintop camp is best suited to small units. The sites are widespread for ample privacy, but they lack formal parking. Old-growth Shasta red firs, meadows of false hellebore, and huckleberry flats compose the setting. In late summer, as the berries ripen, you may encounter folks with buckets swinging from their belts and blue stains on their fingertips. This serene retreat also appeals to wildlife."
