Mud Spring Horse Camp

Mud Spring Horse Camp Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This serene but primitive campground on the southeast flank of Wolf Mountain will appeal to the escapist. It enjoys a setting of big meadows and big pines and allows campers to spread out. False hellebore, widow grass, buttercup, wyethia, violet, and larkspur color the meadow. Trail 821, the South Prong Trail, provides hiker/horse access to Black Canyon Wilderness. Hunters use this camp in the fall."
