This small campground is sandwiched between FR 16 and Elk Creek. Ponderosa and lodgepole pines dominate the camp, with a few Douglas and grand firs interwoven. Despite its proximity to FR 16, the campground conveys a feeling of isolation. It is not far from the hiking at North Fork Malheur River (southwest of camp, taking FR 1675 off FR 16) and Little Malheur River (northeast of camp off FR 1672).
