Forty-three miles west of Portland. Tread: Dirt singletrack for 6.5 miles, gravel for 1 mile. Hazards: Watch and listen for ATV's at trail and road crossings. Portions of trail may be slippery, even in dry weather. Heavy trail use has exposed roots.

Nice ride for experienced mountain bikers. Lots of up and down, but most all in the shade of old growth. Note that the gravel road portion has been replaced with a new trail. You don't have to ride on any trails with motorized vehicles. Allow 2 - 3 hours for this ride.
