This route offers a mix of paved and unpaved paths. There are no trail markers, just color indications for trails. It may be a bit confusing, so carry a map or a picture of the park area. Although there is approximately 600 feet of vertical gain, the footing is very smooth and runnable. There are views to the west of downtown Portland and the West Hills. Enjoy a snack before your run at Good Coffee, 4747 SE Division Street, and finish the effort with lunch at Hawthorne Hophouse, 4111 SE Hawthorne Boulevard, or Apizza Scholls, 4741 SE Hawthorne Boulevard.
