“Stub” Stewart State Park Professional Review and Guide
"This sweeping park and camp facility offers a full recreation menu with trails for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding; heights for viewing; and second-growth fir-alder woods and canyons for nature study. More than 20 miles of trails web the park’s 1,673 acres, including part of the Banks–Vernonia rail trail. An eighteen-hole disc golf course or a three-hole traditional golf course will challenge your aim. For the former, bring your own discs and score cards. The park’s location in the coastal foothills means winter can bring days of ice and snow; come prepared."
