Emigrant Springs State Park

Emigrant Springs State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This campground rests in a deep woods setting of fir and spruce just off the interstate and along the historic Oregon Trail. On a wooded rise at the north end of the park, the horse camp is isolated from both the family campground and the day-use area. Horse trails and nature trails invite exploration. Historically, travelers on the Oregon Trail camped here, filling their barrels at a spring. South of the park, at the Spring Creek exit, you will find another Oregon Trail site, the forest service’s Blue Mountain Crossing interpretive site and trail, where you can see actual ruts left by the pioneer wagons."
