Sandhill Crossing Professional Review and Guide
"This campground in the lodgepole pines overlooks the postcard-pretty Sprague Wild and Scenic River. Wildflower-dotted meadow banks contain the river; among nature’s palette are Indian paintbrush, shooting star, and buttercup. Small gravel bars and deep pools are part of the meandering river’s character, and fishing provides a challenge. Mosquitoes are the lone detractor; come prepared."
