Lee Thomas Professional Review and Guide
"This campground unites a lodgepole pine stand, a marmot-inhabited rock outcrop, wildflower meadows punctuated by willow clumps, and the lovely Sprague Wild and Scenic River. A pole fence encircles camp, with an egress to the river for fishing or gazing at its sparkle. The Lee Thomas Trailhead is 1 mile east of the camp; from it, the Deadhorse Rim Trail travels 6 miles to Deadhorse Lake, with Campbell Lake a possible destination beyond that."
