Oceanside & Netarts, OR Professional Review and Guide
"Oceanside clings like lichen to the steep slope of a rocky headland overlooking a beach as broad as a boulevard. Three Arch Rocks National Wildlife Refuge stands offshore as a haven for sea lions, seals, and birds by the thousands. South of Oceanside is the tiny community of Netarts and a bay by the same name. Netarts Bay is an elongated, shallow body of water, extending about 7 miles south to north. It is bounded on the east by Three Capes Loop and on the west by a long, club-shaped stretch of sand known as Netarts Spit."
