Trestle Creek Falls

Trestle Creek Falls Professional Review and Guide

"A thoroughly delightful trek through old-growth forest leads to a pair of the best waterfall grottos in the Umpqua National Forest: Trestle and Upper Trestle Creek Falls.

From the parking area, walk across a bridge that passes over Brice Creek and veer right for about 50 feet to a signed trail. The trail climbs steadily for 1.5 miles, passing through stands of old growth before arriving at Upper Trestle Creek Falls. This two-tiered gem of a cascade resides in a captivating alcove of ferns and mosses. The falls can be reduced to a robust seep by late summer, but it is still a sight to behold even under low-water conditions. The trail leads behind the upper tier of the falls before rounding a corner and descending 1.1 mile to a junction with the Brice Creek Trail."
