Beginning at Sand Prairie Campground and riding out and back on the trail makes for a 10.6 mile trip. Creating a loop by first following Forest Service 21, then descending on the trail is another option. The trail is a long piece of single-track following the Middle Fork of the Willamette River. The higher portions of the trail are demanding and technical. The lower parts of the trail allow easier pedaling with few difficult obstacles. The ride begins at Sand Prairie Campground, approximately 14 miles south of Oakridge.
