Hot soaking pools next to a stream just off an Oregon highway, frequented by locals, long-haul truckers, and tourists. The 50-yard walking path from the parking area by the highway will bring you to an open terrace on the north bank of Salt Creek, which contains a variety of soaking opportunities. Hemlocks, cedars, and Douglas fir separate the sunny, open stream bank from the highway, which lies 100 yards north of the soaking area. A car or truck on the highway may occasionally be seen through the trees, but for the most part the traffic has little impact on the soaking experience.
