This small campground along the South Umpqua River harkens to the Civilian Conservation Corps camp that occupied this site in the 1930s. The camp rests in fir-pine forest with dry understory of grasses and Queen Anne’s lace and tangles of blackberry. Sites receive a mix of sun and shade; the parking pads and road are gravel. Area trails call campers forth.
