Wedged between the Multnomah Creek and Oneonta Creek valleys, two of the gorge’s most popular hiking destinations, Franklin Ridge is one of its least visited. Cloaked with some of the region’s finest stands of old growth, views are limited, but solitude and tranquility aren’t. Franklin is an ideal destination for a misty day or can be an alternative approach to Larch Mountain (Hike 70).
