Hike the Sandy River Trail from the Ramona Falls Trailhead to the Ramona Falls Loop. Then follow the very scenic 4.5-mile loop to beautiful Ramona Falls and back. This trail is used as an access route to the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail 2000 and the Yocum Ridge Trail 771. Leaving the large parking area at 2,450 feet elevation, the route heads east to join the Sandy River Trail 770 0.2 mile from the trailhead. The course climbs gently through the forest of alder, western hemlock, Douglas fir, and lodgepole pine.
