Hike to Mirror Lake and possibly camp overnight. Then you can follow the often rhododendron-lined route to the summit of Tom Dick and Harry Mountain, and arguably the best view of the south side of Mount Hood. Once on the summit, be sure to allow plenty of time for enjoying the view and taking photos. Mounts Jefferson, Adams, Rainier and St. Helens are also in view from the summit on clear days. As you enter the woods on the south side of the creek, the wide, smooth tread passes a signboard and a picnic table. Shortly there will be a path to the right. Bear left here, staying on the main trail, and soon cross another footbridge. Past the second footbridge the woods soon thins out.
