Pacific Crest Trail

Pacific Crest Trail is a hiking and horse trail in Hood River County, Jefferson County, Marion County, Clackamas County, and Wasco County, Oregon. It is within Mount Hood National Recreation Area - Mount Hood Unit, Mount Hood National Forest, and Mount Hood Wilderness Area. It is 58.2 miles long and begins at 3,283 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 63.0 miles with a total elevation gain of 7,617 feet. Barlow Pass Sno Park and another parking and the Barlow Pass saddle can be seen along the trail. There are also a picnic site, a shelter, and a restrooms along the trail. Near the end of the trail is water. This trail connects with the following: National Forest Development Road 5890, Timothy Lake Trail, Old 1916 Trail #537, Wilson Road, Miller Trail, Little Crater Lake Trail #500, Headwaters Trail #522 and Jackpot Meadows Trail #492.
