Stanley Ridge

Stanley Ridge Professional Review and Guide

"This can be a day hike from Bearwallow Trailhead to Standley Guard Station, or a backpack to a base camp there. Standley Guard Station is the trail hub for the area between Bear Creek and the Minam River. From here trails head out in all directions.

Most of this trail follows an abandoned roadbed, which is reverting nicely to a trail. You pass through burnt forest nearly all the way to the junction with Dobbin Creek Trail, 3.8 miles from the trailhead. The area was burned in two different fires and is in varying stages of recovery. (Trail 1677)"
