Harris Memorial Park: Gene Palmer Professional Review and Guide
"This comfortable county campground with two camping areas sits along the South Fork Walla Walla River below a basalt-tiered, arid grassland hill. You may choose between the side-by-side hookup sites along a neatly trimmed lawn or the individual hookup sites (with paved spurs) in the pine-scrub outskirts. Driving 0.4 mile past the camp, you will reach a trailhead for the South Fork Walla Walla River Trail, which dishes up a splendid river canyon tour. This trail is open to both nonmotorized and motorcycle travel."
