Whiskey Spring Professional Review and Guide
"This campground occupies a large flat of pine trees, with a few cedars and firs sprinkled through the ranks. RVers will find several long gravel parking pads, as well as some pull-through sites. Adjacent to camp is a spring-fed beaver pond and Whiskey Creek, a trout stream. In season, spring peepers enliven the night forest; other times it is an owl sounding. Squirrels, deer, beavers, woodpeckers, and wood ducks can be spied. A 1-mile barrier-free trail with cinder surface skirts the beaver pond, Whiskey Creek, and Whiskey Spring while touring rich woodland seasonally decorated with colorful wildflowers."
