Cantrall-Buckley County Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"In an 89-acre woodland of pines, oaks, madrones, and firs sits this county park complex (campground and day-use area) with 1.75 miles of Applegate River frontage. Deer are common here, and birding is popular. Trout fishing and swimming will keep you entertained, or you may want to head east into historic Jacksonville. This town traces its origins to the placer gold discoveries of 1851–52. It retains its old-town charm, and its museums and shops welcome strolling."
