This camp in a fir-and-cedar woods along the McKenzie Wild and Scenic River provides access to the waterfall viewing platforms upstream from camp and to Carmen Reservoir downstream. The sites are spaced for comfort and privacy, but RVers may need to shop around for the most level site. Three viewpoints present the beauty and surge of 63-foot Koosah Falls; equally impressive Sahalie Falls is a short hike farther upstream. Trails travel both sides of the river, allowing a loop between the upper bridge and Carmen Reservoir. Fishing and quiet boating are available at the reservoir and Clear Lake, or you can fish the river.
