McCubbins Gulch Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This off-highway-vehicle (OHV) campground claims a mild slope and flat along McCubbins Gulch, a diversion of Clear Creek. The silt-bottomed stream flows along the lower edge of camp. A bridge across it leads to one of the OHV trails in the area; others start near the camp entrance. The camp floor is somewhat rolling, rutted, and barren, but the tall firs and pines are pleasant. Dust and noise are part of the deal, so if you are not an OHV enthusiast, avoid this camp. NOTE: Avoid trespassing onto tribal lands, which are private."
