Long Bend Recreation Site Professional Review and Guide
"This linear camp claims a narrow strip of shoreline along the Deschutes River. White alders line the riverbank, and hackberry grows at the upper edge of the camp. Across the river you can see cliffs, rims, and an active rail line. The Deschutes River provides fishing and boating, but strong undercurrents make swimming dangerous. Fires and smoking are prohibited from June 1 to October 15."
