This campground rests on a grassy bench at a bend in the Deschutes River. It offers campers convenient access to superb fishing and river floating (a boater’s pass is required for the river). A few trees provide spotty shade. Across the river you can see a steep canyon wall. In this fragile, arid canyon, fires and smoking are prohibited from June 1 to October 15.
