Very nice in September. No bugs! Comfortable temps, not too many people, great country.....plan to do more exploring

This is a great location to base camp and then hit the trails to Lake Basin area, Eagle Cap or Glacier Pass and Lake. It is also a gorgeous location. Only downfall was the mosquitoes (at least over 4th of July this year). Bring lots of repellant and even a headnet.
