Cascade Head Nature Conservancy Trail

Cascade Head Nature Conservancy Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Cascade Head is pure magic. Trails on the headland traverse a deep hemlock and spruce forest and open coastal prairie. Bobcats roam the forest, Pacific giant salamanders- the largest salamanders in the world.

This hike, approaching the headland's tip from the south, is the most popular route on Cascade Head. Hikers may see hawks circling in the updrafts or deer grazing on the open headland late and early in the day."
