Mcdowell Creek Falls Professional Review and Guide
"Western Oregon’s rugged topography and wet climate combine to make it a waterfall-lover’s paradise. Thousands of falls mean hikers have a wide range of possibilities to choose from. Some falls are hidden in remote wilderness canyons inaccessible to all but the most determined explorers. Other falls plunge over cliffs right next to interstate freeways. The ones in between—the hundreds of cascades accessible only by trail— are now popular destinations for local hikers. One excellent destination on the easier end of the hiking scale is McDowell Creek Park, a small county park that protects a group of impressive waterfalls in the hills southeast of Lebanon. The park’s trails are open all year and are easy enough for hikers of all ages."
