Spring Creek Professional Review and Guide
"Conveniently located off I–84 near an Oregon Trail interpretive site, this campground occupies an attractive meadow-and-forest setting. Sites are relatively level and radiate off the campground loop road. The surrounding area is a winter range for elk (December–April), as well as a woodpecker nesting area; keep an eye on the ponderosa pines for clues. Bats too can be seen. The Oregon Trail site is reached by heading 3 miles north from the exit, following signs. A lovely carved entrance sign welcomes you."
