Birdtrack Springs Professional Review and Guide
"This campground enjoys a peaceful setting of tall ponderosa pines, firs, and larches. Wild rose, grass, and currant contribute to the forest carpet. The sites are well spaced, with gravel parking. Songbirds complement a stay. At the camp’s western edge, a rail fence surrounds the namesake natural spring. Although it can supply water when it tests pure, play it safe and bring what you will need. Across OR 244, visitors can access the Grande Ronde River for fishing."
