Eagle Ridge Park Professional Review and Guide
"On Shoalwater Bay on Upper Klamath Lake, this campground occupies a small, open flat at the western foot of pine-and-juniper-clad Eagle Ridge. The sites have basic amenities and gravel parking, but bring your own shade source. At night the lapping of the lake against the shore enables a tranquil sleep. By day the lake invites fishing, boating, and birding for eagles, grebes, cormorants, and geese. Although the road beyond the camp is unsuitable for trailers and passenger vehicles, you can hike or mountain bike along it for 2 miles to the tip of the peninsula, where you will find additional birding and fishing, as well as views of the lake, Pelican Butte, and Mountain Lakes Wilderness."
