Aneroid Mountain

Aneroid Mountain Professional Review and Guide

"A moderate scramble leads up Aneroid Mountain from East Fork Wallowa River Trail. From Aneroid Mountain, the fourth-highest peak in the Wallowas, the view is absolutely superb in all directions.

In summer (August) flowers cover the alpine terrain. Just below the summit on the south side of the peak are a scattering of scruffy White-bark Pines. These little trees are living at the highest elevation of any trees in Oregon."
