Oregon Mine Professional Review and Guide
"This small, out-of-the-way, improved rustic campground has great charm with its shrub-and-meadow floor, towering ponderosa pine trees, rustic rail fencing, and shrublined Murderers Creek flowing at its back. Deer and, according to the forest service, wild horses sometimes visit the camp. Nearby, the Cedar Grove National Recreation Trail explores a rare Alaskan cedar grove for a 2.2-mile round-trip hike. To reach the trailhead, return to FR 21 and go 3.5 miles north. Turn left (west) onto FR 2150, following it 6 miles to the trailhead."
