Cape Sebastian Trail

Cape Sebastian Trail Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"It’s nearly a 1000-foot elevation gain if you ascend Cape Sebastian on an up-and-back hike, and you’ll not find a more scenic aerobic workout.

For a less strenuous hike, consider leaving a shuttle vehicle at the trail’s south end; that way, it’s just 200 feet up and 720 feet down as you slowly descend this towering forested cape, as many locals do. The beach at the cape’s base can be a good spot to escape the wind on an otherwise warm day."

Make a nearly all-downhill glide through towering forest on this steep cape. The beach at the cape's base is a good spot to escape the north wind." Read more
