Despite the running-water facilities, the sites themselves are primitive and random. They occupy a stand of tall firs set back from the racing, glacier-born East Fork Hood River; special fishing regulations apply. Although small RV units could park on the earthen flat, the entrance road’s blind access, overhanging limbs, and tight turnaround at camp make this park better suited to tent campers.
