"This family campground rests in open conifer forest along the East Fork Hood River, which originates on Mount Hood. Special fishing regulations apply to the river. Area trails travel along the river and climb to Badger Creek Wilderness. Mount Hood sightseeing is popular, with Cloud Cap and Timberline within reasonable distances of the camp. Pioneer Woman’s Grave and a segment of the Oregon Trail can be found near the junction of US 26 and OR 35."
