On this easy, paved route you’ll wind along the edge of the scenic Columbia River Gorge for over 9 miles on an out-and-back route between Hood River and Mosier. Along the way you’ll be able to stop at many spectacular viewpoints and pass through the historic Mosier Twin Tunnels. Trail surface: Paved multi-use trail. Start: The ride begins at the Mark O.Hatfield Trail. Fees and permits: Requires a $3.00 Oregon State Park day pass or a $25.00 annual pass. Length: 9.2 miles out and back. Approximate riding time: 1.5 to 2 hours. Difficulty: Easy, due to the smooth paved surface.

Better road ride linking Hood River to Mosier, you can then keep heading East to Rowena point overlook, and loop back around. Either as a road ride, mt. ride, hike, jog... the views are unsurpassed.
