This quiet campground along Lake Fork Creek consists of shady, wellspaced sites in a multistory mixed forest of fir, pine, and larch. Just north of the camp, the Lake Fork Trail offers hikes to Big Elk Creek (2 miles) or Fish Lake (11 miles). The campground is conveniently located along Wallowa Mountain Loop Road, which accesses the sights, trails, and attractions of Wallowa-Whitman National Forest and Hells Canyon National Recreation Area.
