East Fork Pine Creek/Blue Creek

East Fork Pine Creek/Blue Creek Professional Review and Guide

"This backpack trip or long day hike leads from Cornucopia Trailhead to the Imnaha River and provides access to Norway Basin and Sugarloaf Trails (Trail 1865).

The route climbs steadily for the first 5.8 miles, much of the way through fairly open country, some of it burned in the last few years. In summer there are lots of flowers along this route. Elk are common here, especially in the burned areas, watch for them morning and evening. Once past the pass the route descends steadily to the Imnaha River."
