Whitehorse County Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This fine campground sits on a gentle, wooded hillside above the north bank of the Rogue River. A day-use area claims the lower portion of the park, closer to the river. Attractive lawn and ponderosa pines and oaks lend character to the camp; cottonwoods grow toward the river. Since the park is also a bird sanctuary, naturalists will enjoy the companionship of herons, geese, ospreys, wood ducks, and songbirds. Fishing, rafting, swimming, and riverside nature walks keep visitors delightfully busy."
