Hoodview Professional Review and Guide
"On the south shore of man-made Timothy Lake, this campground boasts some big firs and mountain hemlocks in its mixed-age forest that offers good shade. In early summer rhododendron pompoms decorate camp. Premium-priced sites overlook the lake, with Mount Hood viewed from shore. Boating (10 miles per hour maximum), fishing, and the 13-mile Timothy Lake Trail, which circles the lake, keep campers occupied."
