Badger Lake

Badger Lake Professional Review and Guide

"A primitive road, with wilderness on either side, leading to a gorgeous glacial cirque lake. Many trails and side trips. The last 6 miles are narrow, very slow, and contain multiple rocks and ruts; the very last mile is quite steep."

The scenic drive is definitely amazing but there are many hiking trails in the area that are worth a trip. The Badger Lake Trail is about 11 miles and brings you along the lake. This views are stunning and walking through the forest is so peaceful. It's not a heavily trafficked area so if you're looking for some quiet time this area is perfect. The trails aren't well maintained though so be prepared for some rough patches.

The drive isn't that bad, but dont do this in a car! The trip is worth it though, the lake at the end of the road is awesome! and the views along the way are breath taking, good 4 out of 5...
